This years garden in coming in slowly. I have not been spending a lot of time canning this year, mostly because our cucumbers have been really slow. We have been enjoying eating from the garden; beans, beets, peas, and herbs so far. Trying some new recipes, like this roasted beet salad (we will have this again soon when our oven is fixed) and also this purple bean salad that we had last night.
Now we are pulling carrots and picking cherry tomatoes for fresh snacks and just waiting, watching, and enjoying these last few weeks of summer.
