The fall colors are at their peak here in the Northwoods.
We have been enjoying stretches of beautiful weather.
We did have our first hard frost on September 27th this year. So my garden has been put to rest.
I pulled the cucumbers, made and canned salsa from the last harvest of tomatoes, harvested some mystery squash,, and had to say goodbye to my abundant dahlias.
It is a season of both transition and beauty. I am trying to experience a dose of nature each day, pausing from my computer work for an hour or so mid-day. I have been getting out for a hike or run just to breathe fresh air and get a mind and body reset. My work flexibility is a continued blessing.
